Promoting Your Business
The
Milford Chamber offers you various opportunities to promote your business.
The key is to get involved with your chamber. The following is a list
of some of the ways for you to get involved and promote your business.
Business
After Hours:
This is a networking event sponsored by a Chamber member at a location
of their choice. These pleasant and enjoyable events provide networking
in a social atmosphere. On a monthly basis you can meet and greet other
chamber members to initiate or reinforce business contacts. You will make
quality personal contacts with key decision makers. This is networking
at its best. This type of networking can also help you "retain"

New
Members Receptions:
Generally held at the chamber office as a Business Before Hours, this
program is designed to help new members learn about Chamber resources,
meet chamber officers and provide an alternative to evening networking.

Leads
Groups:
Share and obtain business and sales leads with companies from other business
classifications that do not compete with your firm. There is only one
business per category in attendance at these meetings. There is a waiting
list for some categories in order to join the group. Meetings are held
on a weekly basis. Currently the Milford Chamber is hosting four three
leads group, Monday morning, Tuesday, a Wednesday and Friday morning group.

Referrals:
The Milford Chamber receives numerous requests for goods or services by
telephone, internet, mail, or consumers who drop in our office. We distribute
referrals only to Chamber members. Referrals are made on a rotating basis.
When requests are for services or products having more than one member
company in that category, we refer at least three contacts.

Advertising:
You may broadcast your company's message through our monthly mailings,
on our website, newsletter, membership directory,
and through sponsorships of various programs and events. Advertising opportunities
are numerous and cover a variety of areas. Let us know what you are looking
to do and we will help you find a cost effective way of doing it. The
MEMBERSHIP DIRECTORY alone covers the cost of investment in membership.
Over 10,000 copies are produced and distributed. Listings are categorical,
by company name and, personal name. For more information on an advertising

Committee
Involvement:
The Ambassadors Committee, Education Committee, Legislative Action Committee,
Milford Pride, & Milford Progress, are just some of the committees
and task forces available for you to join. We will be glad to discuss
them all with you and find out which will benefit you most with your involvement.

Health
& Wellness Council:
The mission of the Milford Chamber of Commerce Health & Wellness Council
is to empower the Milford business community to foster positive changes
through education, health and wellness. The Milford Chamber of Commerce
Health & Wellness Council meets the second Thursday of each month
at 8:30 am in the Chamber Board Room.
