U.S. Navy Show Band Coming to Milford

The Milford Chamber of Commerce and the Law Firm of Kapusta & Otzel welcome the U.S. Navy Show Band to Milford and the Summer Nights by Harbor Lights Concert Series for a free performance.
The performance will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, August 13 at the Veterans Memorial Auditorium at the Parson’s Government Complex. Although there is no charge for the performance, tickets are required and are available at the Chamber office.
The 18-piece Northeast Navy Showband is one of the most sought-after big bands in New England. The group is under the direction of Musician First Class Donald Chilton and performs a variety of American musical styles including swing, blues, patriotic music and popular favorites.
The Showband performs for military receptions, concerts supporting Navy recruiting, and dances.
The Band travels extensively throughout the northeast region of the United States in support of military events such as public concerts, music clinics, and jazz festivals.
