July 9, 2007 was the date for the Milford Chamber of Commerce's Eleventh Annual Golf outing, sponsored by BIC Corporation. This year the tournament was held at Mill River Country Club. The Golf Tournament benefits the Milford Chamber of Commerce Trust Fund. The Trust Fund houses the Scholarship Fund for higher education and funds the Mini-Grants for educational purposes administered by our Education Committee. Our Scholarship Fund will provide $30,000 in scholarships to students entering college and this year the Education Committee will award 9 Mini-Grants. The Mini-Grants have affected the lives of over 2,500 students since their inception. There are several ways that you can be involved with the BIC Classic Golf Tournament.
