2004 is a special year for The Milford Chamber of Commerce. We are celebrating our 50th Anniversary and it is slated to be a year filled with celebrations.

This page will be the place to watch to see what is happening.

Already scheduled are:

May 7, 2004-A Gala Evening Dinner Dance Celebration at Race Brook Country Club.7 p.m. An evening of networking and dancing to the music of Funkestra. This first class event will kick off our year-long series of events.

August 21, 2004 -Next will be the creation of a time capsule to be buried in the lawn of the Taylor Building to be opened 50 years from now. This will include contributions from the city, various non-profits, and winning essays from our youth that will describe Milford 50 years from now. An Essay Contest for Milford students has begun. Date TBD -Then, a 50s dance. We will have a 50s band, invite participants to wear 50s garb, have a costume contest and rock dance contest. We might have burgers and cokes and, of course, an anniversary cake.

And how is this all possible? We would like to have you join us in making all these events possible. There are three tiers of sponsorship. When you participate your company name will be included a the promotion of each event. All sponsors will be acknowledged in all communications, invitations, and program books as well as a page to be developed in our website along with a link to your website.
